Female Vitality

Vitality is the state of being strong and active; energy. It represents the power giving continuance of life, present in all living things.

In many ways, my work reflects the sum of my life experiences. I’m very open about the personal challenges that led me to seek out, study, and combine therapies and practices that help us reconnect with ourselves. I studied female health yoga with Traditional Chinese Medicine applications, and Sollus is my legacy.

I work with women to support their wellbeing in challenging times. I use yoga based body, breath and mindset practices to support women in their vitality at any stage of life.

A bridge to modern healthcare

‘Sollus’ means whole, entire and complete. It’s my dream for us to embody exactly that.

I’m proud to guide, counsel and support women using somatic techniques to unite the mental, physical and spiritual capacity for healing. There is an opportunity for metamorphosis, my role is to empower, guide and impart a sense of agency.

I’ll support you to navigate the highs and lows of challenging times.

Menopause Yoga can help manage the physical and psychological symptoms that many women experience during the transition from perimenopause to menopause.

Adding yoga can complement holistic self-care that may include Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and nutritional support.

Studies have shown a yoga practice also increases quality of life and prevents cortisol increase in post-menopausal women. In general, the effects of yoga practice were significantly more prominent than those of exercise.

Benefits include

  • Reduce stress and improve sleep.

  • Relieve menopausal symptoms, such as hot flushes, joint and muscle aches.

  • Rebalance your emotions reducing anxiety, low mood.

  • Restore depleted energy and reduce fatigue.

  • Reinvigorate a sluggish metabolism, tone and strengthen muscles, build bone density, balance and boost heart health.

  • Reinforce positive thoughts that improve self-esteem.

Building a yoga practice now can also improve your long-term physical and mental health in post menopause when the depletion of oestrogen can lead to brittle bones, muscles loss, and the risk of cardio vascular disease.

My work offers tools to help you return to yourself, regroup, and discover the strength, softness, compassion, and love within.
